Cube
Woxter iCube 3200
Description
HTPC. Was brought as media player, as the old device we had before wasn't able to reproduce many new formats. Then I discovered it was running Linux (as many devices nowadays), and was able play/hack a bit on it, including setting some additional services like rsync for backups and so.
Although the OS limitation on making it easy to hack it, the device is quite good out-of-the-box. I still didn't found any format not reproducible there, it has plenty of space and many functions.
The hostName
No more explanation that is like a cube and the vendor itself calls this model iCube.
Role
Mainly as HTPC, also used for backup and, as it can be connected as USB-device I'm also using it as external USB-disk for LoRez KODI based HTPC
Services:
- HTPC
- DLNA
- NAS (Samba, FTP)
- BitTorrent Client
- rsync
- Backup
