The hostName
The name is extracted from the same book Idoru by William Gibson. The character also appears in other Bridge Triology novels. In the novels is somewhat like an software agent that behaves like an IA and it has been created to be a mass idol as the name refers to Japanese Idol
Role
The system serves now as the main storage point, both for files (NAS) and for backend databases of some applications. It also pull backups from the rest of the systems to serve as a backup pool server.
